President's Message
Members and Guests,
As we begin our 2012-2013 fiscal year we look forward to another year of participation, education and fellowship in the activities of the Austin Chapter of the IMA. The year kicks off with our first chapter meeting on September 19th at the UT Club with a presentation and discussion by Glenn Williams, “The Cash Flow Doctor”, which should be very interesting. Check our website for registration instructions for this, and all of our meetings. As in the past, the Austin IMA Chapter meetings always provide valuable information on current business and accounting topics presented by various experts from business and academia. Also, these meetings provide a chance for networking, interesting discussion, good food, and one hour of CPE.
We are continuing to work with our membership to identify additional ways that the chapter can support the profession, our members, and the brand of management accounting. As always, any thoughts or ideas concerning this effort are welcome.
